Durga Puja is celebrated for the victory of warrior goddess Durga over the demon Mahishasura.
It is a festival of victory of good over evil. Maa Durga represents the power of good. This festival also represent female power as ‘ Shakti’ in the universe.
Durga Puja is one of the most awaited festival of India. We can call it as one of the greatest and biggest festivals of India.
Durga Puja is held during Ashwin month of Hindu calendar and during the month of late September or early October. It is a ten – day event. During the last five days, there is involvement of certain rituals and practices.

Every pandal has unique decoration with a theme
Wearing new clothes, devotees enjoy visiting pandals for darshan of Maa.
