In India starting from the Vedic era, Sanskrit poems were crafted.  With time various changes came in the writings of the poets at the beginning of the Mughal era.  There are number of Indian writers who stood out over time for their unique writings and influences on Modern Indian poetry. Ratikanta Singh is one of those Indian poets. His writings include numerous poems in Hindi, English and Odia languages.

He is the Indian writer who writes for motivating the youth of the country. He uploaded many motivational videos on YouTube due to which people came to know about him and his popularity increased. He is passionate about what he is writing about so he is able to express himself very well.
