Mark Eliot Zuckerberg is an internet entrepreneur and philanthropist from America
He was born on 14 May 1984 at WhitePlains in New York, United States of America
Mathematics and Science were his favourite subjects in childhood.
Mark Zuckerberg was a computer prodigy since his childhood.
Mark Zuckerberg studied Psychology and Computer Science at Harvard University
During his college days, along with his room mates, Edurado Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Mascovitz, and Chris Hughes, launched Facebook on 4 February 2004.
Initially the site was meant to be for select college campuses. But, the site witnessed exponential growth in the following few years and became the world’s biggest social media platform.
He became the Chairman cum CEO of Facebook.
In 2012, Facebook acquired the photo and video showing social media platform, Instagram. Two years later the company acquired the mobile messaging app, Whats App.
In August 2013, he launched internet.org to connect the entire world with internet.
He married Priscilla Chan, his college friend in 2012.
In 2010 and 2013, he became the ‘Time Person of the Year’.
His biopic, ‘The Social Network’ won many global awards.
Zuckerberg is always in the list of richest person in the world.
