  1. ବିଶ୍ଵ ସାମାଜିକ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଦିବସ 20 February ରେ ପାଳନ କରା ଯାଏ ।
  2. ଏଇ ଦିନ ଭେଦ ଭାବ , ଜାତି , ଧର୍ମ , ଗରିବତା ସହିତ ଜଡିତ ସମସ୍ଯାଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ଜାଗରୁକ କରିବା ହେଲା ଏକ ମହତ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ।
  3. ବିଶ୍ଵ ସାମାଜିକ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଦିବସ 20 February 2009 ରୁ ପାଳନ କରିବା ଆରମ୍ଭ ହୋଇଛି ।
  4. ଏଇ ଦିବସର ଘୋଷଣା 2007 ରେ ହୋଇ ଥିଲା ।
  5. ପ୍ରତ୍ଯେକ ବର୍ଷ ବିଶ୍ଵ ସାମାଜିକ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଦିବସର ଦିନ ଏକ theme ବା ବିଷୟ ଉପରେ ଆଧାରିତ, ଆଉ ସେଇ theme / ବିଷୟ ମାଧ୍ୟମରେ ସମସ୍ତଙ୍କୁ ଜାଗରୁକ କରିବାର ଚେଷ୍ଟା କରା ଯାଏ ।
  6. 2022 ର theme ବା ବିଷୟ ଥିଲା – Achieving social justice through formal employment
  7. ବିଶ୍ଵ ସାମାଜିକ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଦିବସ ଦ୍ଵାରା ରୋଜଗାର କୁ ଗୁରୁତ୍ଵ ଦିଆ ହୋଇଛି , ସାମାଜିକ ନ୍ୟାୟ ପ୍ରାପ୍ତ କରିବା ପାଇଁ ।
  8. ଏଇ ଦିବସ କୁ ବିଶ୍ଵ ସ୍ତର ରେ ପାଳନ କରା ଯାଏ ଓ ବିଭିନ୍ନ ପ୍ରକାର କାର୍ଯ୍ୟକ୍ରମ ଦ୍ଵାରା ଜାଗରୁକତା ଆଣିବାର ପ୍ରଚେଷ୍ଟା କରା ଯାଏ ।
  9. ବିଶ୍ଵ ସାମାଜିକ ନ୍ୟାୟ ଦିବସ ର ମୁଖ୍ୟ ଉଦ୍ଦେଶ୍ୟ ହେଲା ଭେଦ ଭାବ କୁ ଦୂର କରିବା ।
  10. ଏଇ ଦିବସ ଦ୍ଵାରା ସାମାଜିକ ସୁରକ୍ଷ୍ୟା ଆଣିବା ତଥା ଶାନ୍ତି ର ସହିତ ସୁରକ୍ଷିତ ଭବିଷ୍ୟ ପ୍ରଦାନ କରିବା ଏକ ବଡ ଲକ୍ଷ୍ୟ ଅଟେ ।

  • World Day Of Social Justice is celebrated on 20 February every year with an aim to provide social justice in the entire world.
  • This day is celebrated to create awareness among people about the importance of peaceful and prosperous coexistence.
  • The principle of natural justice is applicable in case of social justice which means rule against bias and the right to a fair hearing or unfavoured rulings in terms of wealth, opportunities and status within society.
  • World Day Of Social Justice has a big aim to inspire the international community for employment generation, eradication of poverty and equality of gender.
  • On World Day Of Social Justice Government, NGOs and Civil Communities/ Societies jointly hold awareness programmes on various issues like literacy, inequality etc.
  • United Nations as well as International Labour Organization ( ILO ) Office takes initiative and conducts various awareness programmes related to social justice in the society.
  • The World Day Of Social Justice celebration was declared in the year 2007 by United Nations General Assembly and celebration started from 2009.
  • This day is meant for upholding the principles of social justice to see that it helps in removing the obstacles of caste, creed, religion and culture.
  • On World Day Of Social Justice schools and colleges organize debates on various burning issues related to social justice like childhood poverty, education,employment, human rights and sustainable development.
  • World Day Of Social Justice gives us an unique opportunity to promote self-employment, address the concerns of social issues and maintain peace for prosperity of mankind.
