LYRICS OF SONG BHAIYAA MERE, RAKHI KE BANDHAN KO NIBHANA IN HINDI:-

LYRICS IN HINGLISH AND TRANSLATION IN ENGLISH ( BHAIYAA MERE, RAKHI KE BANDHAN KO NIBHANA )

Bhaiyaa mere, rakhi ke bandhan ko nibhana

My dear brother, fulfil the bond/ binding of rakhi

Bhaiyaa mere, chhoti bahen ko na bhulana

My dear brother, don’t forget your younger sister

Dekho ye naataa nibhaanaa, nibhaanaa

Please see that responsibility of relation is fulfilled, fulfilled

Bhaiyaa mere rakhi ke bandhan ko nibhanaa

My dear brother , fulfill the bond/ binding of rakhi

Bhaiyaa mere, chhotibahen ko naa bhulanaa

My dear brother, don’t forget your younger sister

Bhaiyaa mere….

My dear brother…..

Ye din ye tyohaar khushi kaa, pawan jaisaa nir nadi kaa

This day, this festival of happiness, holy/ pure like the water of the river ( Ganges )

Bhaiyaa ki ujale maathe pe, behan lagae mangal tika

On the bright forehead of the brother, sister puts an auspicious tikaa/ tilak( red dot or elongated tilak )

Jhume ye saavan suhaana, suhanaa

This monsoon wind dances beautifully, beautifully

Bhaiyaa mere…..

My dear brother…..

Bhaiyaa mere…..

My dear brother…..

Rakhi ke bandhan ko nibhanaa

Fulfill the bond/ binding of rakhi

Bhaiyaa mere, chhoti bahen ko naa bhulaanaa

My dear brother, don’t forget your younger sister

Bhaiyaa mere….

My dear brother….

Bandhke hamne resham dori, tum se wo ummid hai jodi

By tying this silken thread by me, I have added/ put all my expectations/ hopes on you

Nazuk hai jo saans ke jaise, par jeevan bhar jaae naa todi

It is as delicate as breathing, but can not be broken throughout the life

Jaane ye saaraa zamaanaa, zamaanaa

Known to the entire world, entire world

Bhaiyaa mere…..

Bhaiyaa mere…..

My dear brother….

Rakhi ke bandhan ko nibhanaa

Fulfill the bond/binding of rakhi

Bhaiyaa mere, chhoti bahen ko naa bhulaanaa

My dear brother, don’t forget your younger sister

Bhaiyaa mere…

My dear brother….

Shaayad wo saavan bhi aae jo, pahlaa saa rang naa laae

Perhaps that monsoon/ saawan may also come, that will not bring the same colour as it brought before

Bahen paraae desh basi ho, agar wo tum tak pahunch naa paae

Sister may be living far away, if she is not able to come/ reach you (on this day )

Yaad kaa dipak jalaanaa, jalaanaa

Burn the lamp of memory/ Burn the lamp of memory

( Always remember/ Always remember )

Bhaiyaa mere….

My dear brother….

Bhaiyaa mere…

My dear brother….

Rakhi ke bandhan ko nibhanaa

Fulfill the bond/ binding of rakhi

Bhaiyaa mere, chhoti bahen ko naa bhulaanaa

My dear brother, don’t forget your younger sister

Bhaiyaa mere….

My dear brother….

CONCLUSION:-

Hope, you liked the post. In our society it is very much seen that Chhoti Bahen ( younger sister ) is always pampered in the family. She adds beauty to the family. She also performs many duties. She helps the brothers and the family in many ways. In Hindu culture we call sister or girl child as Lakshmi (Goddess of Fortune ). From very young age sisters help the mother in house hold activities.

Sisters, through their activities have proved that they get matured early and they are mentally very strong but physically weak. It is the duty of the male members to protect the sisters whenever needed. Perhaps, to remind this in a form of festival ‘ Raksha Bandhan’ or ‘Rakhi Festival’ iscelebrated.

As we all know the meaning of Raksha is to protect and Bandhan is the bondage of love , affection and care. On Raksha Bandhan, Rakhi is the main source of attraction as it is prepared by sacred thread decorated with colourful stones and other shining materials. Sisters tie sacred silken Rakhi on the wrist of the brothers. Brothers also take a vow to take care and protect their sisters.

This film ‘ Chhoti Bahen’ is a beautiful film depicting the beautiful bond between sister and brother/ brothers . This is a must see movie to know even the harsh realities of our society. And the song “ Bhaiyaa mere, Rakhi ke bandhan ko nibhanaa” speaks every thing about Raksha Bandhan Or Rakhi …..
