HINTS ABOUT THE MOVIE SHOLAY:
In this movie, a retired Police Officer Thakur Baldev Singh, from Ramgarh village was harassed by dreaded bandit/ dacoit Gabbar Singh. Thakur’s family was killed by Gabbar. Thakur decides to fight fire with fire.
Thakur Baldev Singh was unable to fight himself as both his hands were cut down by the dreaded bandit Gabbar Singh. So, he decided to recruit/ two convicts Jai and Viru to capture Gabbar Singh alive.
Thakur approaches Jai and Viru in the jail. Puts the proposal before them. They agreed to hand over Gabbar Singh alive but demanded a hefty amount.
After discharge from the jail, Jai and Viru travelled by train ,then by tonga (horse cart ) to the village Ramgarh ,where Thakur used to live now with only his widowed daughter in-law. Dacoit Gabbar killed all the family members of Thakur. The mission starts to capture Gabbar …..to know the details…see the movie….
It is an interesting movie which was released on 15th August 1975. It is a Super- duper mega hit movie. Every scene, every dialogue of the movie impressed the audience. People used to remember the dialogues of the movie. Many people have seen this movie several times. They have even remembered the dialogues, such is the impact of this movie SHOLAY.
The movie shows great friendship between Jai and Viru. They were ready to sacrifice their lives for each other.
