Few days ago one of my friends made me cry, laugh, hugged me and increased the value of friendship. He is my good old friend, Atku Singh. That day there were four other friends with Atku Singh. Their names are Latku Singh, Bhatku Singh, Khatku Singh and Guga Singh. We all friends met after a long gap. We all became very nostalgic. We discussed so many things that we enjoyed together. How the time passed so quickly, we could not know but it was a memorable get together.
You might be wondering after hearing the name of my friends. These are their pet names/nick names. But they are famous with these pet names only. Let us know their good name also.

Hearing these good names of my friends, you might have received a shock. This shock may not be mild; it might have been a severe shock. I am able to tell this because I also received severe type of shock when I met them and became their friends. Sometimes I think how we are able to spoil beautiful and attractive names to calling them in their pet names. Sometimes these names seem very dangerous too. You might have heard very dangerous as well as peculiar and funny names in the villages or cities of India. These peculiar funny names add flavour to our life. You might have heard pet names like ‘Pehelwan’ (Restler), for a boy who is lean, thin and sickly. Sometimes you might have heard pet name like ‘Kalia’ (Black) for a boy who is fair in complexion. Really, India is a great and wonderful country. We people enjoy calling peculiar names for our children and this gives peculiar feelings which we can call as pure Indian feelings. Whatever may be the nick name of our children, they are the bundle of joy.
Let us proceed further to learn a bit more about my peculiar friends. They are very much different. In Hindi we can describe them as “Ek se badkar ek”. In English we can translate as – “Each one is something more than the other”. Their work or nature is almost similar to their nick names. But they are very much gentle, positive and always ready to help others. They have good habits and want to contribute to the society as a good citizen. They are like jewels to the society. Problematic and negative people are afraid of them because they are law abiding and honest.
You might come across or meet these peculiar friends in my blog posts very often in future. They are also writers; creative persons and many a times supply fuel for my writings. They will appear in my short poems, prose and they may also appear as advisor etc. in my writings.

True Friend & True Friendship:
A true friend is someone who lets you have total freedom to be yourself.
True friendship is when someone knows you better than yourself and takes a position in your best interest in a crisis. Friendship goes beyond just sharing time together and it is long lasting.
Anybody who has true friend is very lucky and it is like getting priceless wealth. I consider all my five friends to be priceless. They are more than five Pandavas. Including me we become “Sixer”. Together we try to do unconventional, great and useful things for society. We do share lot of lighter moments together, but ultimately we are into doing something new every time. We always believe, “Abhi toh ye angdai hai, aage aur ladhai hai” (अभी तो ये अंगड़ाई है , आगे और लढाई है ) In English we can say , this is just the beginning, there is lot of fighting waiting for us. With all positive energy we all the friends fight for greater good for our society.
