My friend Bhatku Singh complained against me. He said you are playing a partial role as far as Hindi Language and blogging in Hindi is concerned. On your Birthday i.e. on 10th April 2018 you have written 10 poems in Hindi. You have not written any poem in Odin and English. I know that you are a trilingual blogger but why this partiality?
To tell you frankly I had no answer to this. Many a times I avoid same topic to be written in three languages. Translating poems is easy as well as tough too and many a times it depends on the mood also. Somehow, I didn’t have the mood to translate the few poems written in Hindi to English and Odia. But I fully agree with my friend Bhatku that some important subjects should be written in all the three languages.
Bhatku went abroad, came just yesterday. He visited me in the evening with flower bouquet and a beautiful cake. He forced me to celebrate the Birthday again and demanded that I should write 10 Birthday poems as I was born on 10th of April. Really I was moved with his demand as well as love and affection to celebrate a belated Birthday in my residence. Again I was surprised. After few minutes of his arrival the entire gang – Atku, Latku. Khatku and Guru Gyaneshwarji forced into my house to celebrate my Birthday for the second time in a year. Such things happen rarely, I was really moved. I don’t know how to thank such good friends. Because of the demand , I have written 10 Birthday Poems in English. They are not the exact translation of what I have written in Hindi. After each poem there will be one or two quotations related to Birthday also.
So friends, let us enjoy few poems written by me along with the quotations.
