(150 not out and will always remain not out)
On 2nd October we celebrate Gandhi Jayanti
This year we celebrate 150 years Birth Anniversary
The world remembers with deep respect
We all can see his statue all over the world
The time has not outdated him
It has not diminished his respect
This year we are going to see global celebration of his Birth Anniversary
Gandhiji is 150 not out and will always remain not out
He has global impact even today
This “Satya” and “Ahimsa” man cannot be forgotten and faded away
How strong he was and how easily he used them
Is beyond imagination today
Gandhiji will remain evergreen
He just cannot be faded away
Gandhiji is 150 not out and will always remain not out.
Gandhiji preached what he practiced
Once he lived without sugar for two weeks
He wanted to tell a child not to have sugar
As it is not good for health
Gandhiji stood for values
Gandhiji fought for values
Gandhiji stood for simplicity
His loin cloth that he wore
Speaks volumes of his simplicity
He went for healthy diet
Went for such a diet that caused minimum suffering to animals
And after the age of 40 he observed total celibacy
Gandhiji is great with his values
Gandhiji will remain evergreen
He just cannot be faded away
Gandhiji is 150 not out and will always remain not out.
Gandhiji disliked machinery
He preferred the Charkha and Handloom
He was very much opposed to Power loom
But he liked the Typewriter and Bicycle
The eco-friendly Bicycle that gave opportunity to exercise was of his liking
The Typewriter very much helped him to overcome his bad handwriting
His commitment to non-violence is well known
He had no hatred for the enemy and he followed this principle
His quarrel or fight was with the evil
It was never with the evil doer
He believed whole truth confers absolute power
This is based on total knowledge
He understood and believed God only has total knowledge
So, he equated truth with God
Gandhiji was a great humanitarian
He appealed to the final feelings of the opponent or oppressor through ‘Satyagraha’, ‘Non-violent’ and ‘Truthful struggle’
And Gandhiji had the winners’ feeling
What an amazing thing he achieved for us!
Forced the Britishers to leave this country
Gandhiji’s super confidence on non-violence is unimaginable
Gandhiji will remain evergreen
He just cannot be faded away
Gandhiji is 150 not out and will always remain not out.
Gandhiji loved serenity
He had loved for Art and Music
He had also sense of humour
He didn’t have the gift of gab
But great sense to listen well
To listen with patience was his strength
Listening itself became solutions
And also a strength for solutions
A fully spiritual man he was
His practical knowledge and thought process made him an
All-rounder
He was very strict and epitome of sincerity
He practiced what he wanted others to do
Such a man can never be outdated
Gandhiji will remain evergreen
He just cannot be faded away
Gandhiji is 150 not out and will always remain not out
The world will get inspiration
The world will get direction
Let us salute Gandhiji, let us love Gandhiji.
